ABOUT US

We embraces our resident's individuality, different cultures and empower them to maintain independence and choices as possible with encouragement and support

Jasmine Court is a 24 bedded Nursing Home, which is beautifully situated, overlooking sea views from the front of the home. We have a level access enabling residents to be able to peruse the promenade, visit local shops, enjoy refreshments at a local cafe, or attend a local church of their choice. .

Our accommodation consists of a ground floor, which comprises of 3 bedrooms, a large lounge which to the front of this has a small cosy area where residents can sit quietly enjoy panoramic views, or the larger area, which caters for our residents who enjoy the hustle and bustle of life. We have a small foyer area for those who like their own company and a sun terrace for warm balmy days.

All rooms are individually decorated to accommodate different tastes. We have 20 single rooms, 6 being en-suite and two double rooms, for those who like company. Most bedrooms are on two floors, which are lift accessed. We have three prime bedrooms, which provide breathtaking sea views. All rooms have televisions for private viewing.

We actively support activities with in the home, from aromatherapy to organised events each afternoon. Activities are aimed at providing a stimulating environment thus helping each individual in our care to achieve a good quality of life.

A visiting minister provides spiritual needs and some residents go out to local churches, or receive visits from church members.

We cater for long and short-term residents and have the reputation of providing excellent care, and have many testimonials to support this.

CARE PHILOSOPHY

Our Philosophy start with the understanding, and our unique person-centered care is at the heart of what we do.

Our philosophy starts with the understanding that no-one wants to be in a Nursing Home. With this in mind our prime task is to effect this transition in to the realms of the unknown in an uncomplicated and congenial manner. An individual assessment of each resident ensures that we maximise the potential quality of life for every patient with individual choice being recognised whenever possible. Patient's dignity and privacy are not merely empty words used to describe our philosophy but the very foundation on which we base our care.

TESTIMONIALS

Jasmine Court always well care for, and standards of cleanliness and tidiness. Please read below, just a few of the lovely comments we have had.

Ms MYRA ELLIS
"The care, attention, supports and indeed affection you showed to dad was so comforting to witness and I am so grateful for it. We will be the best ambassadors for Jasmine Court; a special place run by special people. Thank you is insufficient"

Ms ELSPETH STIVEN
"I was very touched, while I was visiting him, with how wonderful you all are and I know that he also was grateful for your humour, care and sensitivity. It was so much easier knowing what good hands he was in"

Ms CHRIST MINGO-WEST
"Each one of you have your own way of making residents and visitors alike feel that nothing is too much trouble and the atmosphere is something of which you should all be rightfully proud. Everyone who visited mum remarked on the appearance of both residents, staff and accommodation and you are truly an outstanding group of people"
